rabbit tooth sharks and the rarely spotted black suited diver

Thanks to the year pass to the 2 oceans aquarium we got for xmas going has become a monthly tradition, weekly in some instances. Seeing as Fysh and I slept at the academy last night (no point in driving home in the dark after a night out) he insisted (after waking me up at a rather ungodly hour) that we go to the “kwe-ri-ummmm” to see the frogs.

A real pity that the frogs are no longer actually there though unless you count “teddy the tongue-less toad” which Fysh doesn’t :(

The past two weekends we’ve taken to doing the trip backwards, we get there as they open and then instead of following the masses through the usual way we start at the shark tank which means we get to relish in the quiet beauty and absorb the tranquility that is the tank sans anyone else for a while.

These days his favorite exhibit is the divers… yes I’m aware they aren’t an exhibit which is what makes it so funny. Them and the “rabbit tooth shark”. I’m thinking that when there is hopefully something of a cashflow again I’m going to book for one of the sleep-over’s they arrange now and then.
