saturday showcase – pimp your biscuit

Biscuit-1433So there’s this secret little place at the V&A Waterfront that needs to not be so secret anymore, it’s called Pimp your biscuit! It’s a fantastic activity station at the V&A Waterfront’s “new” Market on the Wharf where children can enjoy all the creativity of making and decorating their own delicious biscuits without mom and dad having to worry about the mess.

Fysh adores baking and we try and bake as much as we can at home, time and finances allowing of course, so when we got an invite to come and see what Pimp your Biscuit was all about I immediately said we’ll be there. It’s a brightly colored little haven in the Market where children can choose from the 5 tasty cookie dough flavours; oatmeal and raisin, choc chunk, shortbread, ginger spice and my all time favorite – peanut butter.

The decorated cookie dough is baked and ready to enjoy hot out of the oven in just 8 minutes, during which time the kids can color in, play “build your monster” on the giant magnetic board or go for a walk around the rest of the market. For those who don’t have time to stay and enjoy the baking activities though there are freshly baked biscuits available for purchase, as well as 2.5kg buckets of scoop & bake cookie dough (guess what I’m getting come payday?!) and any of the desired accessories and toppings, which will ensure hours of baking and decorating fun at home.Biscuit-0909

Our opinion? well… Fysh has already asked to go back.
