Babylonstoren

Yesterday we went to Babylonstoren, one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms. It has the most amazing gardens that could take you days to walk through. There are fruit forests, fountains, flowers of all colours and types, a giant swing, a restaurant and coffee shop, a little curio shop and mini nursery where you can pick a few plants. There are also donkeys, turkeys and ducks… It’s absolutely wonderful and the only thing I regret is not having more time to walk through and explore but we had a minion who could only think of ice cream and we forgot to pack in water so our stay wasn’t as long as we’d have wanted.

Put it on your list of places to see when you’re stuck on things to do over a weekend or have just a little free time and want to wonder about some place beautiful.
Entry is R10 a person and kids are free (well Fysh was free so I don’t know what age that stops at or if it’s a thing)
