Cindy from 3 kids, 2 dogs, 1 old house arranged a fantastic meet up for mommy bloggers, it was amazing! We all met at Graze in Kenilworth which is the cutest and most accommodating cafe I’ve been to in a long time. Despite having a set menu they actually whipped up the most divine salad for me, it was seriously delicious! They also have a kiddies menu where you can put together your child’s plate with little bits instead of a set plate of things. If that makes sense? It’s great. Wish it were closer so I could take Fysh.
We had amazing sponsors – a huge thank you to gumtree who was the biggest of the lot – and I can’t wait to go through all the goodies we got and review them, I haven’t done a review on here in ages so I think it’s about bloody time I start telling you what our favourite products are. Fysh nicked a few things out the bag and claimed them as his own so he’ll be dictating a review or two as well.
Sadly I’m still having my aversion to people moment (weeks) so I didn’t really socialise much and in hindsight I should have made more of an effort but instead I stuck to my table. Not that I’m complaining, I finally got to meet Maz from Caffeine and Fairydust, I saw Acidicice again and also met Rumtumtiggs.
We had an amazing speaker – Nikki Lincoln – who spoke to us about optimising our blogs which is fantastic and I’ll be doing a post on it at some point. I don’t claim to all of a sudden be an expert in it but I’m going to put it to use and hopefully I can make my blog a better place. It’s still my slice of the internet and I don’t *really* care about “monetizing” it but it’s good to learn new things and so on.
